<p>I told Charles we needed a pumpkin to celebrate the season. My request went unanswered (I thought) until I came home to see him proudly working on this. Yes, it&#8217;s a self portrait. Mind you, this was carved last week, so our friend never actually made it to the holiday. It&#8217;s rotting in a box to be taken downstairs in the morning. Though it&#8217;ll never see a candle, thought I shed a little light on his endeavor this way.</p>
